Congratulations to MSc student Alex Hutter who received a 2017 CSPG Regional Graduate Student Scholarship and a 2017 Geological Society of America Student Research Grant for his thesis project “Detrital thermochronometry and provenance of Jurassic and Cretaceous reservoir sandstones, Jeanne d’Arc basin, Grand Banks, offshore Newfoundland”. Alex’s research is supported by an Ignite R&D grant to Luke Beranek from the Research and Development Corporation of Newfoundland and Labrador.
